Dagi Kesim - Coaching Director for North Sound Soccer Club.

Biography: Dagi was a professional soccer player in Europe until a knee injury cut his career short. After several operations, he decided to coach and attend college in the U.S. He has spent the last 10 years coaching in the US and has been coaching at local area high schools. He was previously the Lynnwood High School and Cascade High School boy’s Head Soccer Coach and the Assistant Coach for the Meadowdale High School girls team as well as Head Coach for Glacier Peak High School’s boys team and Lynnwood High School’s girls team.



Dagi has signed a term contract with NSSC as Coaching Director and will manage all future coaching direction and planning and engage in Select training activities and scope. He has also been training local teams in the area as well as players on a private basis. Dagi has trained players from teams from Crossfire, Mukilteo Select, Northwest Nationals, Silver Lake, Evergreen Soccer Club, Emerald City, Lakewood, FC Alliance and Snohomish United. In his career of private training, he has helped over 50 players earn scholarships for colleges around the country and has recently started scouting for some colleges. Some of the players Dagi trained are now playing for their national teams. During the ’07 season, Dagi took his underdog team, Cascade High School, to a 3rd in State finish. He was chosen the Coach of the Year for 2007 for HS sports and was also voted one of the best trainers in the state by a couple of soccer websites. Dagi also helped a local college team with their set plays last year.
